Overview

To view the FastTrack (FCU) report in the Insights workspace, users will need to have a report viewer role for at least one MPN enrolled in the FPC.

User Permissions

In Partner Center, the Insights workspace requires a Global Admin or an Account Admin to assign the Report Viewer or Executive Report Viewer roles. If needed, review the Identifying Global Admin or Account Admin users section to identify these users.

To verify the Report Viewer or Executive Report Viewer role assignment:

1. Go to Partner Center.

2. In the top right menu, select Sign In.

a. If this is the first time you have signed in:

i. After selecting Sign In, enter your username, select Next.

ii. Create your profile, select Next.

iii. Verify your email address, select your country in the Country/Region field, select Save.

iiii. Select OK.

3. Once authenticated, select the Dashboard button.

4. In the top right menu, select the Settings icon, and then Account Settings.

5. In the left navigation, select User Management, and then use the Search tool to find your account or the account in question.

6. Select your account. Open the account details by selecting the user in question.

7. Confirm the View data and reports for one or more locations (select the locations where the user needs to be able to view data and reports.) checkbox is selected.

8. Confirm the Report Viewer or Executive report viewer role is selected.

Note: In Step 7, if MPN is filtered on is selected instead of Entire Organization, only tenants claimed using these MPNs will be visible. Some partners may want to segment which tenants their users see in the FCU. This can be achieved by granting access to the user for only their respective MPN locations.

Accessing the FastTrack Centered UX (FCU)

In the Partner Center Dashboard, select the Insights workspace and then FastTrack from the left navigation menu. The direct link: http://aka.ms/frpfcu.

Identifying Global Admin or Account Admin users​

  1. Go to Partner Center.
  2. In the top right, select Sign In.
  3. Once authenticated, select the Settings icon (top-right), and then Account Settings.
  4. Select User Management.
  5. Select the down arrow next to the filter for All Users and choose Global Admin or Account Admin.
